Hands down the best thing to happen in 1997. As a 12 year old lad this video scared the hell out of me. Wish these guys would resurface with some more weird music.

I had all their CDs. They were lumped in with the "swing revival" of the mid 90's -- but they were considerably more than that. They broke-up at some point. Too many members left to pursue solo careers (including the lead singer of "Hell') -- and the two founding members (Jimbo Mathus and Katherine Whalen) got divorced.
They re-formed in 2007 (including Mathus and Whalen) - so there might be some new weird music yet.
